Questions

Where are you based, and where are your students?

8020 Education is a brand of Testlyn LLC, a US company registered in Wyoming. Our teaching team grew out of 8020 English, a test-prep centre in Ho Chi Minh City. Lessons are online, so students join from any country; we schedule around your time zone.

Are the reviews and results on this site real?

Yes. Every score and quote comes from an official score report or a message in our own class chats, shared with permission. We blur names and faces and link each quote to the original screenshot. Families mostly write to us in Vietnamese, so the English quotes are our translations.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the format (private, small group or full course), the subject and the number of hours. We quote after the free consultation, once we know what the student needs. There is nothing to pay to talk to us.

Can parents follow progress?

Yes. Parents receive attendance, homework and mock-test results, and can message the tutor or the academic head at any time.

What if the tutor is not the right fit?

Tell us and we will switch tutors. The consultation exists to get the match right from the start.
